Help guide
Where did my satellite radio channels go?
The channels you get depend on the plan attached to your radio. When some disappear, it's usually the plan or a waiting refresh rather than the radio itself. We help you tell which.
What we can help with
- Channels that disappeared when a trial or plan changed
- A lineup that doesn't match the plan you thought you had
- Understanding what a radio refresh does and when it's worth trying
- Getting the right questions ready for your provider about your channel lineup
Before you get in touch
Three quick things that often make the next step much easier.
- 1
Match it to your plan
Look up which plan is on the radio and what it includes. A downgrade or a finished trial removes channels without anything being broken.
- 2
Ask for a refresh
Most providers can send a fresh signal to your radio, usually online or by phone. Leave the radio on, outdoors, while it updates.
- 3
Check it's the right radio
With more than one car or receiver, make sure the radio ID on the account matches the one in the car with the problem.
What happens next
- Tell us which channels are missing and when you first noticed.
- We help you decide whether it points to the plan, a refresh or the receiver.
- We tell you exactly what to ask your provider so you only explain it once.
What we can't do
So there are no surprises.
- We can't add or unlock channels. Your provider controls the lineup.
- We can't send a refresh signal to your radio.
- We can't promise a refresh will bring a channel back.
FAQ
Missing channels: common questions
What does a radio refresh do?
Your provider sends your receiver a message to reload its permissions and lineup. It can fix temporary mismatches, but it can't add channels your plan doesn't include.
My channels vanished overnight. Why?
Most often the plan on the radio changed, for example a trial ended. A refresh that hasn't arrived yet, or a radio ID that doesn't match the account, can do it too.
Can you unlock premium channels for me?
No. Your provider and your plan decide what you receive. We can help you understand what a plan includes and what to ask.
Still not sure where to start? Just tell us what the radio is doing.
Send a short note or call. We'll reply with practical next steps, and tell you honestly what we can and can't help with.
